Since completing her first CD project, "Reflections",
Brenda and the Boys have not stopped to rest on their laurels.
Brenda is now hard at work on her second CD. Pictured are
Brenda and her beautiful niece MoRaya, writers of the
soon-to-be-number-one single "Biskits Made From Scratch". This
song is sure to be known as the married woman's national anthem.
The
second single, "You've Gotten Use To Me," written by
Brenda, comes straight from her heart and speaks for itself. Both
singles were released in the Spring of 2004. The album "A Long Time
Coming" consists of 9 original songs and 3 old favorites. The CD
will be released in its entirety in the FALL.
While her first album showcased her eclectic and dynamic vocal style
over a wide genre of music, this new CD will showcase Brenda's skills
as a writer/producer in addition to her incomparable singing and
performing talents. This latest recording effort is guaranteed to
appeal to her enthusiastic fan base and win new fans all over the
country.
Consulting on the CD with Brenda is Dexter Redding, the
son of the late great Otis Redding.
